Is my Pamela activation number valid only for the release I buy it for (e.g. Pamela 3.5)?

No, when you purchase a license for Pamela then this activation code is valid for all previous, current and future releases of Pamela.

Note that the license you buy is only valid for a particular Pamela version. E.g. an activation code for Standard will not work with Professional.
