Is MP3 supported in Pamela Call Recorder?

Yes, as of Pamela Call Recorder 2.5.0.6 we have added native MP3 recording. This means that by default Pamela will save all recordings (voicemail, call recordings, etc.) in MP3 format. Optionally, in the sound settings, you may select the WAV format option.

If you are using Pamela for more professional recording you can install the ACM LAME codec which provides extended sound quality configuration options. Details  here.

To upgrade from PCR 2.0 to 2.5 just uninstall the current version and re-install it. Note that after you installed Pamela it will not reappear under the "Do More" menu. Instead select the option "Install extras" and click on "Productivity".
