I want to install Pamela but the "Do More" menu in Skype 3.0 is greyed out

The reason can be that you have unchecked the "Install Extras Manager" from the Skype 3.0 advanced installation options. This means the Extras Manager is not installed and the "Do More" menu under tools remains grey.

To fix this install Skype 3.0 again without changing any of the advanced installation options. After that the Extras menu should be active and you should see Pamela.

A second reason can be that the Extras Manager, which is a separate application, has terminated for some reason. In that case restart Skype and check in task manager if there is an application called "SkypePM.exe" running. If you, then all is fine. If not re-install Skype 3.0 with the standard installation options.
