User manual for Rich Mood Editor v2.0 (included in Skype Extras Manager)
Rich Mood Editor (in short RME) is now available in a complete new version. Version 2.0 has some significant improvements, in short:
- Complete new user interface
- Removed the HTML style editor window and replaced with wysiwyg
- Added support for Skype emoticons and country flags
Rich Modd Editor is available in Skype and is completely free. To install RME, open Skype and click on Tools, Do More, Install Extras. A new window will open. Click on the category "Personalise" and there you will see the Rich Mood Editor application. Click on the green "Play" button to install it.
Functions
Below you will find a brief description of the different parts in the user interface.
Main window.

Brief explanation of the individual components of the RME2 screen.
1st Toolbar.

From left to right the buttons do following action.
- Open a rich mood text file
- Save a rich mood as text file
- Wipe the current mood message in RME
- Remove all HTML formatting in current mood message
- Read current Skype mood message from Skype
- Save current defined mood message to Skype
- Show HTML code window
These buttons also have tooltips that explain what they do.
2nd Toolbar.

From left to right the buttons do following action.
- Set selected characters to bold
- Set selected characters to italic
- Set selected characters to unterline
- Set selected characters to blink
- Set selected characters to centered
- Select the font
- Select font size
- Select font color for selected characters
- Set selected characters above middle line
- Set selected characters below middle line
- Insert a web link
- Insert a Skype emoticon (even hidden ones)
- Insert a Skype flag
These buttons do not have tooltips.
Bottom status bar.

From left to right you will see:
- Current Skype status
- Remaining number of characters you can enter
- If INS is on or off
- Word wrap is active
