How do birthday notifications work?

The birthday notification is activated by default. Open the Pamela options from the main window, then click on Birthday Notification. From there you will be able to configure the options. There are three options which you can configure Pamela when a notification window is shown (a transparent small window that pops up in the right lower corner of your screen).

When clicking on that window you can configure three action items:

1. No action
2. Send a pre-configured chat message (can also be a personalized one if you have this set for the specific contact)
3. Initiate a call via Skype

Note: Pamela reads the birthday dates from the profile data of your Skype contacts. If a contact does not have a birthday in his or her profile, Pamela will not notify you. We plan to add a manual entry function in future.
